Classical Revolution PDX is a network of musicians that come together to perform chamber music for the community.
We have all different kinds of musicians playing with us: symphony and ballet/opera orchestra members, conservatory and music school students, established chamber groups, cello project members, and amateurs that just really, really love chamber music. This program will be an open jam where all are invited to bring their instruments and play some chamber music with new friends. (Don’t forget your sheet music and a stand.)
Also appearing will be Matthew Dickman, author of the chapbooks, Amigos (Q Ave Press, 2007) and Something About a Black Scarf (Azul Press, 2008). His first full-length collection, All American Poem, won the 2008 American Poetry Review/Honickman First Book Prize in Poetry. He has had work in Tin House, Clackamas Literary Review, Agni Online, and The New Yorker, among other publications.
