Melissa Sillitoe
Melissa Sillitoe (Executive Producer) moved from Salt Lake City to Portland in 2005 and loves this soft-lit silver-green city. Fresh off the boat, she attended the local open mics and learned how to tell poems and stories out loud, and she’s since published and performed them in a few places. In 2007, she opened Show and Tell Gallery in her downtown apartment, and her First Thursday shows included visual art, performances by bands and poets, a cranky cat, and homebaked cookies. She loves silver skies, how the colors glow on rainy days, mornings in bed with a pile of library books to skim, adventures in cooking, and her day job of helping people with disabilities learn job skills.
